"Diary of a Diet" is about Hannah Jones' ongoing struggle to commit to get fit, stick to a sensible eating plan or think, once and for all, that she's simply fabulous just the way she is right now.
The book that eats the Size Zero debate for breakfast and coughs it back up with a side of comedy carbs, features the ordered ramblings of outsized and outspoken newspaper columnist Hannah Jones. Her diary will find resonance with all women, whatever their shape or size, who've felt pressure to weigh out their self-esteem along with their chips. It's a sharp, witty and heartfelt study on living life in the fat - oops, sorry - fast lane to self-acceptance. "Diary of a Diet" is about Hannah Jones' ongoing struggle to commit to get fit, stick to a sensible eating plan or think, once and for all, that she's simply fabulous just the way she is right now.
Hannah’s weekly column Diary of a Diet is a must-read for women of every shape and size around Wales every Tuesday - and, thanks to the internet, way, way beyond.

It's helpful to have a sense of purpose when starting to read this work. It is a collection of columns by a newspaperwoman from Wales recounting her struggle with her weight. As such, it is very real and it certainly appears to be an opportunity to lay bare the soul of an engaging person and her pain. It is not so much an avenue for entertainment and because that is the primary purpose for my reading it did not satisfy that need. I found it harder to finish because of the lack of entertainment value but as that is my prejudice and not this book it seems unfair to detract from it on that basis. The editing is well done. The author certainly lends humor to the situation without hiding her own hurt feelings. When one is in the mood for non-fiction from a personal perspective this will suit well. It did seem repetitive without making much headway, but then again, that's just like the effort to lose weight.Product details

Diary of a Diet edition by Hannah Jones Health Fitness Dieting eBooks Reviews
Very disappointed in this app. due to the bad language in it, I had to delete it because of it, Would not recommend.
I thought the book would be interesting, despite being thin, and therefore admittedly not the intended audience. I figured if it was well-written, it wouldn't matter if I was thin. Well, I started out and it just seemed to ramble a bit. I think due to being originally written as a newspaper column, it just doesn't flow very well. Maybe if I also struggled with my weight it would be a better read.
This book was just "okay" for me. I was expecting more of a story. I found that the author was very repetitive.
A funny book about the struggles of a dieter. If you have ever struggled with a diet, you will be able to connect with this book. It is hard to diet when your a "foodie" and the author takes us on a journey that we have all encounter and the way she handles the ups and downs is funny. Just reminds us all that we are not alone in our quest to drop the weight.
BORING!!! I kept waiting for something to happen......anything to catch my interest.......did not happen!! She might be a good comedian but never an author!! I dont like to give bad reviews but I felt I needed to with this book. (
This was a pretty funny book. I could empathize with everything she goes through trying to loose weight. She also includes tips on making the most of the body you've got. It's in a blog form so you can pick it up and put it down at any time.
Such a good premise and a topic that has the potential to be inspiring to millions of women who struggle with weight and self-image. Unfortunately the writer goes nowhere with it. She just tells the same story from chapter to chapter. After reading halfway through I realized I was more depressed than inspired. Very one dimensional.
